That's what every girl (well MOST) wants to hear.
So, my M.A.C foundation is finishing and i've been hearing and reading raves about Make Up Forever HD Foundation. I do love my M.A.C foundation but i think the salesgirl introduced me a shade darker. Hence I tend to look darker. Though the M.A.C doesn't seem to oxidize, but i don't really want to look DARKER. I want to look FAIR FAIR FAIR!
So yes, i've decided to try the HD Foundation out.
Sephora has several branches here BUT services varies branch to branch. I visited the one at Marina Bay Sands, and i guess because it was empty, the salesgirl was friendly and extremely helpful. However, at that time i only wanted to buy my eyelash glue.
I visit the Ngee Ann City branch many moons ago, and i never want to step in there if i can help it.

There was absolutely NO SERVICE at all. I stood at the Makeup Forever section for AGES and NOBODY i repeat NOBODY attended to me. And the store wasn't even packed. After a few donkeys minutes later, i managed to make eye contact with a guy promoter. And HE TOTALLY SNUBBED ME! Just look right through me as if I grew up eating glass and walked away to some other section pretending to sort some products.
I totally walked right out there. And yes, i'm never going back in there if i can help it.
SO I asked around, and one of my fashionable friends recommended me to go to the Bugis+ branch. The promoters there are friendlier.

I'm thankful for that advice.
The moment i stepped in, a friendly promoter name Hajah (i think... was trying to take a look at her name tag without seeming like i was staring at her chest.) She's friendly and nice. She recommended me the Makeup Forever HD ($76), the Makeup Forever Concealer ($52) & Stila Eyeliner ($28).
Make up Forever HD Foundation ($76)
Hajah mentioned that this foundation oxidizes quite a bit. Hence she recommended me a colour that is slightly darker and when it oxidizes it would be a little yellow (which suits me perfectly, as my original skin colour is a tad yellow). But i'd have to try it out and "see how".
Make Up Forever HD Pen Concealer ($52)
Stila Eye Liner ($28)
I'm currently using the Lee Hyori liquid eyeliner, that is supposedly VERY VERY waterproof and much raved about. But perhaps it's my lids. Even with primer, i realize that the tail end of my eyeliner tends to "melt" hence causing the panda eyes syndrome.
Hajah swears that this eyeliner wouldn't melt. In fact, she's a user and she doesn't even apply primer. Her winged eyeliner seems intact. I'm assuming that since i went in the late evening, she has been working since morning. So with the eyeliner that seems "fresh", it should be a good eyeliner. But i'm going to try and "see how" again.
I can't wait to start my new makeup additions!
Oh, before i forget. The cashier, Hui Li, is also a love. She was smiley throughout the entire process and i even got a free sample moisturizer. Great job! I'm sure to come back to Sephora at Bugis+!
PS: UOB Cardmembers enjoy a 3% cash rebate. Too bad i don't own any UOB cards.
