As you can see, i lost only 500g in 2 weeks. NO GOOD!!!! But i did realize that i have been retaining water, normal when it's nearing the time of the month. And i have been having constant hunger pangs. Feels like a pregnant woman. Hungry ALL THE TIME.
On the good side, my shorts do feel looser. A little tug and it falls right off. Compared to when the thigh areas where tight and felt constricted. Guess that's a *yay* for me!
As part of the regime, I do have to apply some firming cream to help out with the toning. But it's rather expensive to replenish. $78 for 1 bottle and $220 for 4 bottles. Each bottle, depending on use, can last 1 month. However, mom used 2 bottles in 1 month. Apparently she has more surface to cover. But that got me thinking.
So i went shopping at Sasa at Tampines 1 outlet. There's this salesperson - Mary Koh, who swears by the Clarins Body Lift Cellulite Control.
Clarins Body Lift Cellulite Control ($88)
According to her, she could see significant results on her bottom half. There is no "heat" but a cooling sensation. It's non sticky too. And to top it off, each bottle can last 3 months. But that said, it comes with a hefty price of $88!
Mary advised to only apply on areas from waist down, because it's of no effect on the underarms or tummy. She tried it. Didn't work. Only her thighs and butt went down.
So here is a little experiment for me. I will use nuskin's ageLOC Dermatic Effects on my arms and tummy but the Clarins Body Lift Cellulite Control on my butt, love handles, thighs and calfs. Let's hope that there is more significant deduction.
What's more, to avoid disappointment in results, they included a manual on how to massage and apply the cream. Not that i would actually follow it to the T. I don't think i have that much time to find a corner prop my legs up and slow massage it in.
