[PHUKET] Shopping at Phuket - Day 3

This is the view at our hotel Lobby. It's a much glorious site before the sun rise. On the hill itself, there are many houses, kind of reminds me of "Sun Teng" in Hong Kong.

After breakfast (they changed the menu!), we did a little exploring of the hotel. Right beside the breakfast area is actually a hidden pool that many don't know about.

This is the main pool that we went swimming in. The water is so cold!

This is the view from our room at Level 2.

As it was still early, shops not open yet, we decided to cross the road and breathe in some fresh air at Patong Beach.

Instead of hiring 2 beach chairs and 2 umbrellas for 150baht, dad bought a cup of coffee (30baht) and a coconut (60baht) for me. In return, we have 4 normal chairs with a table and 4 umbrellas. All for 90baht only!

Our own personal guard dog! How sweet. He has a wife and a kid. But they are now galavanting somewhere.

Wanting to see more of the sea and sand, i made my way to the water front. It's really really clear and the sand so fine. If the sun wasn't so scorching hot, i might actually enjoy more.

We sat there breathing in the fresh sea breeze for about an hour or so before heading to Jungcelyon.

This building itself has nothing. Only the Food Court at B1. The happenings are behind this building. Simply walk straight in and turn right and out.

Walk straight and you find BIG C!

The girl at Dairy Queen pissed me off. I wanted 3 ice creams. Option 1, 6 & 9. I told her 3 times. Each time she kept talking to her colleague but nodded her head at me. As each ice cream is 45Baht, she only keyed in 90baht and asked us to pay 90baht. So when i said i want 3! not 2! She nodded and say yes yes.

When the receipt was printed. I pointed and said i want 3 ice cream not 2! And still she said yes yes. 6 & 9! I almost yelled 1, 6 & 9!!! STOP TALKING AND CONCENTRATE!!!

She just couldn't stop chatting with her colleague. They kept yakking and yakking. As long as you can get the job done, i don't care if you are talking. But jeez, you can't even multi-task and even repeatedly telling you my order you still can't get it right.

It's like an open concept. People can see you getting your facial done. No worries about any sticky situations.

We had lunch here. It's sushi & shabu shabu buffet at 349baht per person for 70minutes. Not that bad. Although they need to replenish the food a little faster and more frequently. It ain't fair that we have a time limit and don't get to enjoy certain foods because there's no more and they refuse to replenish it.

Inside the building, there are 2 facial places. Both are competitive. But we ended up going for the Pimnara Spa one at 349baht. They did a scrub, black head removal, a mask and neck and shoulder massage all for 45min.

This is the store beside. Tashino? I forgot the name again. There are many options available. The 299baht has no mask and only for 30min BUT they have free make up. 45 min will cost 399baht with mask and the 499baht for 1 hour also with mask and some other stuff.

Miss Bangkok's floating market? They have a Phuket mini Floating Market here too. Things are going at 100baht each. Mostly souvenirs.

It's amazing how time flies. It's already the evening and time for us to head back to our hotel. Apparently there is a no alcohol ban today as it's the day before elections. So most bars are close. But restaurants still serve wine i think.

After the buffet lunch, we were too full to eat any proper food. So we decided to buy the roadside Banana pancake.

One of the seafood restaurants by the roadside. This boat is MASSIVELY long...

The banana pancake stores can be found all over the roadside. There are plenty. But we frequent the one right in front of our hotel. There are many options available and all below 100baht. We bought the nutella and cheese one at 60baht. The Mango caramel one at 70baht and nutella and peanut butter one at 60baht.

With our pancake purchase, we crossed the road to the beach. Some people were letting go of lanterns (something like those at taiwan). But this one is heart-shaped.

This is the lane we have to walk done to the main road. And THERE! I managed to get a shot of the fireworks. I really believe that you can buy and fire these fireworks. But I couldn't find the vendor for it. And mum went on and on about how dangerous it is. Spoiler.... So i had to just content myself to viewing it.
